Youth Month

Area FCU will celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month during the month of April. While we take financial education seriously all year long, this month provides us even more opportunities to work with our youth members to promote financial wellness. Join us in opening a youth savings/checking account, or making a deposit into a youth savings/checking account because when kids learn about the importance of saving money for the future, they are laying the foundation for financial success!

For every youth (16 & under) Savings/Checking account opened, and for every deposit (>$5) made into a youth Savings/Checking account in the month of April will be entered into a giveaway to win $100!

Join us Thursday, April 25th from 3 to 5pm for Treat Day here at Area FCU to celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month! We will be serving ice cream bars, and ice cream sandwiches!

New Addition Open House

Be on the lookout in the near future for our Open House of the new addition. We are planning for the month of May, as long as the weather cooperates with us since we will need to pour our parking lot and do some landscaping still.

Member Appreciation Picnic

Save-The-Date for our Annual Membership Appreciation Picnic. This year it will be held on Saturday, June 15th from 11am to 2pm. We plan on grilling out, having bounce houses, yard games, and giveaways! We hope you can join in on the fun with us!
